Did you know that you can use our Retirement Planner in myOMERS to calculate the amount of retirement income you can expect to receive from your OMERS pension? You can even estimate your total retirement outlook by considering your other income and expenses. The Retirement Planner produces the same estimate you would receive by contacting OMERS to request one, but through myOMERS it is accessible 24/7 and only takes a few minutes!

Don’t have a myOMERS account?

Creating one is easy! All you need to get started is your 7-digit reference number from OMERS, the last three digits of your social insurance number and your date of birth.

Deadline for Additional Voluntary Contributions is approaching

The deadline to make lump-sum transfers to your Additional Voluntary Contributions (AVC) account is June 30, 2022. Fund transfers to your AVC account may come from an RRSP, a locked-in retirement account (LIRA) or other registered retirement vehicles. You may continue to make automatic and catch-up contributions throughout the calendar year. For more information on AVCs, see our How Do AVCs Work? page on omers.com.
