Executive Vice President, Corporate & Capital Markets Finance

Brandon Weening is Executive Vice President, Corporate and Capital Markets Finance at OMERS. He is responsible for a team of more than 175 people, leading all of OMERS corporate finance functions, as well as all back- and middle-office functions for OMERS $60 billion capital markets investing business.

Brandon has been with OMERS for over a decade. He established OMERS international financing program in 2019, including the plan’s investor relations program and its AAA-rating from a major credit rating agency. He is OMERS management lead for the plan’s Audit & Actuarial Committee, executive sponsor of the OMERS DiversAbilities employee resource group and a member of OMERS Operations Committee.

Brandon holds a BComm (Hons) from Queen's University; he is also a CPA® and CA.
